Arsenal Beat Chelsea to Win Women's League Cup

Sam Kerr Double Seals Vitality Women's FA Cup Final Glory for Blues

Chelsea Completes Belated Domestic Treble in Stunning Fashion

Chelsea completed a belated domestic treble in stunning fashion by defeating Arsenal 3-0 in the Vitality Women's FA Cup Final on Sunday. Sam Kerr was the star of the show, scoring twice to secure victory for the Blues.

Chelsea took control of the match from the outset and deservedly took the lead in the 15th minute when Kerr headed home a cross from Guro Reiten. The Blues doubled their lead in the 26th minute when Kerr converted a penalty after Fran Kirby had been fouled in the area. Arsenal tried to get back into the game, but Chelsea remained in control and added a third goal in the 56th minute when Kirby fired home a fine strike.

The victory means that Chelsea has now won the Women's League Cup, the Women's FA Cup, and the Women's Super League title this season. It is the first time that a women's team has won all three major domestic trophies in England. Emma Hayes's side has been dominant all season and deserves credit for their remarkable achievement.

Arsenal will be disappointed to have lost the final, but they can take some solace from the fact that they finished second in the Women's Super League and reached the semi-finals of the Women's Champions League. Jonas Eidevall's team has a bright future, and they will be looking to challenge for trophies next season.
